To celebrate the International Women’s Day 2019, MasterPeace Bangladesh organized a discussion session and cultural competition in Beanibazar Adarsha Mohila College auditorium highlighting the theme “Better The Balance, Better The World” on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Beanibazar, Sylhet.
Mohammed Mujibur Rahman, principal of the college, presided over the discussion session that was attended by the college teachers named Shefu Dutt, Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Mohammad Akhtar Hussain, Sanjoy Acharjya, Mohammad Atiur Rahman, Sushanta Kumar and Lutfa Begum.
Md. Jamil Hussain, volunteer coordinator of MasterPeace Bangladesh anchored the whole program. The discussion session was also attended by MasterPeace Bangladesh volunteer coordinator Md. Jamil Hussain, club members Imam Hasnath Shaju, Nurul Islam Sujon, Rajek Jamil, Sahed Ahmed, Badrul Ahmed, CEO of AB TV Rezu Mohammad and Shabul Ahmed, secretay of Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, Beanibazar.
In his speech Md. Jamil Hussain, volunteer coordinator of MasterPeace Bangladesh said, ‘No nation can make progress keeping the women folk uneducated. Only education can help women in their well and woes’.
In his speech Mohammed Mujibur Rahman, principal of the college, put emphasis on vocational training of women.
Later a cultural competition including instant speech-making and quizzing was held. Prizes were distributed among the winners.
